I. Product Introduction

The globe valve (English name: Globe Valve) is a universal pipeline shut-off and regulating valve. The valve body opening/closing component features an enclosed structure with flat or conical sealing surfaces. The valve core moves in linear reciprocating motion along the valve seat centerline. The mainstream design uses a hidden stem lifting rotary stem structure, with wide media compatibility. It can control air, clean water, steam, corrosive media, slurry, oil, liquid metal, radioactive media, and various other fluid media, suitable for multi-condition pipeline shut-off, flow regulation, and throttling control operations.

III. Working Principle

Relying on valve stem lifting and rotation to drive the valve core in linear displacement, changing the sealing engagement distance between the valve core and seat, controlling pipeline media on/off. The valve stem opening/closing stroke is short, and the valve seat flow port diameter change is proportional to the valve opening/closing stroke, enabling precise control of media flow cross-sectional area, achieving controllable fluid flow regulation, and combining pipeline shut-off and throttling dual functions.

V. Core Functions

1. Media Shut-Off: Fully close the valve core to isolate pipeline media flow, suitable for pipeline isolation and maintenance shut-off.

2. Flow Regulation: Controllably adjust valve stem opening to change media flow, suitable for pipeline flow balance regulation.

3. Pipeline Throttling: Reduce valve port flow area, lower media velocity, regulate pipeline pressure differential, suitable for pipeline pressure stabilization throttling.

VI. Application Fields

Widely used in chemical, oil and gas storage and transportation, thermal steam, water supply and drainage, metallurgy, nuclear power, light industry pharmaceutical, and other industry pipelines. Suitable for high-pressure hydraulic pipelines, air source pipelines, corrosive fluid pipelines, and special media pipelines for media shut-off, flow regulation, and throttling control. Can also be installed with energy storage hydraulic systems and air source control systems.

VII. Usage Precautions

1. Follow valve body media flow direction markings during installation to ensure proper valve core force and sealing status; avoid reverse installation that affects sealing effectiveness.

2. Slowly open/close the valve stem under high-pressure conditions to avoid sudden media velocity changes causing water hammer, impacting the valve body and downstream pipeline components.

3. Match valve body material to the media; corrosive and radioactive media require dedicated anti-corrosion sealing globe valve types.

4. When using hydraulic and pneumatic control linkage, ensure hydraulic control pressure and air source pressure are within standard parameter ranges for smooth valve stem operation.

5. For long-term throttling operations, regularly inspect valve seat sealing surface wear; replace sealing components promptly when worn to maintain sealing performance.
